Something Kevin missed in his intro is that James is also featured in Jessica Livingston's classic book Founders at Work. If he was an asshole, there's no way he would have been included in it, because Jessica is known for being a tremendous judge of character. In fact, Paul Graham credits her for building YC's culture because she was the one who assessed all of YC applicants' characters and decided if they would be accepted. Yes, Hot or Not ultimately failed, but James actually built something people loved and his influence on Silicon Valley is undeniable. I mean, just read the intro (you clearly didn't). What have you done besides impersonate someone and be a jackass?
